NEXUS/Trusted Traveller Interview
Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), US Customs and Border Protection (USCBP) are actively conducting interviews for Nexus/Trusted Traveller applications.
Important Changes to NEXUS
In the fall of 2017, Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) phased out the paper CBSA Declaration Card (Form E311) for travellers arriving in Canada by air. NEXUS kiosk display screens at all designated NEXUS airport locations in Canada have been updated to simplify the declaration process.

Upgrade your airport experience with NEXUS
At Edmonton International Airport (EIA), NEXUS now gives you access to a new dedicated fast-track security lane. Because NEXUS cardholders have been pre-cleared, they can access a special pre-board security screening line at EIA. You may know NEXUS as the card that gets you across the border quicker, but now it provides you with even more convenience.
No waiting in security lineup!
Show your NEXUS card at EIA's central security screening before you get in line and you will be sent straight to the fast lane! Whether you're travelling to a Canadian, US or any other international destination, NEXUS - makes your airport experience even easier.
You can apply online or obtain an application form from the CBSA website. The cost for the NEXUS card is just CAN$50 or US$50 per applicant which gives you a five-year membership.
Effective October 16, the NEXUS office at EIA will be closed on weekends and all CAD and USA holidays. Monday through Friday, CBSA and USCBP will double up on staff to expedite NEXUS processing.
The office hours will be 8:00am - 4:00pm on the days they are open.
